How Do I Change My Luck?

In the study of Destiny or Life itself, you may have heard of ways to "change" your luck or in Chinese, 改运. Each of us was born with a set of 10-year luck cycles from birth till very old age. By observing the flow of the 10-year luck, a consultant can tell if a person has put in enough effort and hard work in their early lives that leads to better life when they are old. In Chinese culture (and hence the study of Destiny as well), a good end to one's life is what everyone seeks.

There are many ways to "change" your luck. You may have heard of someone pretending to be dead and reborn (with a new Bazi or Destiny chart) by sleeping inside a wooden coffin. You may have also come across some "Destiny Consultants" trying to sell you some stones, crystals, ornaments or wearables to do the trick. What about wearing clothes of certain favorable colors and phoooofffff... suddenly your life has changed for the better? All these are not within the true classical study of Chinese Metaphysics. The best fundamental way of changing your luck, is to...... you guessed it right - CHANGE YOURSELF. And this is where a qualified Bazi or Destiny consultant can help identify traits or characters to develop in or use more, and which to tone down.

Of course, there is also another way of boosting your luck, through the use of Feng Shui. We talked about the Cosmic Trinity - Heaven, Earth and Man. While we cannot change what was fated by the Heaven, we can certainly change our lucks through the Earth (Feng Shui), and Man (Characters). It is true that change is the most difficult for most of us. But it is the change that will make you a much better person thus leading to a more fulfilling life!
